How account, billing, and creative workspace data support the Utopean experience.

Your workspace

Utopean stores the account, billing, persona, story, world, and media information needed to provide your private creative workspace.

18+ access verification

Utopean is for people aged 18 or older. When you continue with Google, Google may ask you to share a coarse age range. Our identity broker keeps the Google access token server-side so Utopean can request that range. The Utopean application does not expose or separately persist the raw token or Google response.

We retain the minimum server-authoritative evidence needed for access: the normalized age band and source, when it was observed, and a keyed continuity fingerprint. We do not treat Google age range as government-ID verification. Missing, declined, unspecified, conflicting, or unavailable evidence does not grant access.

Public Google sign-in never offers manual attestation as a fallback. If Google age-range evidence is missing, declined, unavailable, unspecified, conflicting, or under 18, entry is denied; retry and support can help resolve the Google journey but cannot replace its evidence with a declaration.

An audited manual-attestation path exists only for an internal or local Keycloak account with a current, per-account administrator grant. That grant opens the declaration form but is not itself proof of age. The exact date of birth entered there is retained in the protected eligibility record to prove the 18+ floor. Exception audit history records the administrator, reason, state, timestamps, and outcome, but not the date of birth, Google token, raw response, subject, or fingerprint.

Google-derived data

We access and use Google-derived age-range data only to determine 18+ eligibility and protect the integrity of that access decision. We do not use it for advertising, credit decisions, or AI model training.

Google broker tokens and the resulting eligibility records are protected in server-side systems by encrypted transport, restricted service access, and audit controls. They are not exposed to the browser or creative workspace.

We do not sell Google-derived age data or share or transfer it to advertisers, data brokers, or other independent third parties. It may be processed by infrastructure providers acting only on our instructions to operate secure Utopean access, or disclosed when required for security, law, or a corporate transaction with any required notice or consent.

We retain the normalized evidence and related audit data while the account is active and only as long afterward as needed for access security, dispute handling, or legal obligations. Following account deletion or a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify it when those purposes no longer require it; narrowly required security or legal records may remain for the applicable retention period.

You can decline the Google permission, revoke Utopean access in your Google Account, or contact support@utopean.ai to request access, correction, or deletion. Declining or revoking Google age-range access does not create a manual fallback and may prevent public Google sign-in.
